Choccy’s Picks: Brian McClair’s Premier League Treble

The United legend gives us his treble ahead of this weekend's fixtures.

Newcastle vs. Crystal Palace

Saturday 6th April

15:00

Before their defeat to Spurs, there was a pattern to Palace’s last 5 PL games (WLWLW), which would indicate that they were due for another loser. This, along with their loss at Tottenham’s new stadium makes me think that the away side won’t be able to get a win this weekend. A home win for Newcastle will be important and should they win it will place them above their opponents in the table.

Huddersfield Town vs. Leicester

Saturday 6th April

15:00

Huddersfield’s season has been poor to say the least. Minus a double over Wolves they haven’t had much to to show for their 2018/19 campaign. As they welcome Leicester, who could challenge the likes of Watford and Wolves who sit just below the top six, I can see Brendan Rogers and his team going to Yorkshire and nabbing three points.

Everton vs. Arsenal

Sunday 7th April

14:05

Recently, Arsenal have enjoyed their games at Goodison Park and have an excellent record there in the Premier League era. For me, this one is business as usual for Arsenal. They have a lot to play for fighting for the top four and I think they will get a win over Everton who are fighting to just stay in the top half of the table.
