Back-room restructuring, even within a football club, doesn’t usually capture the public’s interest, but then Manchester United are no ordinary team.

United are reportedly in the process of looking for a ‘technical director’ to work alongside Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a big change in how things are run.

We’ve taken a look at how that role might fit into the existing structure at Old Trafford.
