Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Nou Camp on Tuesday night served to show just how far from the level of Europe’s very best sides the Red Devils have fallen.
After a bright start to life under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United’s form has levelled off of late, and it is becoming increasingly clear that several key additions are needed this summer if the 20-time champions are to challenge again.
